Tragedy struck on Thursday evening as 11 passengers were roasted to death in a fatal auto crash along Secretariat axis of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.The accident involved a commercial bus popularly known as Danfo which was carrying 14 passengers.
According to reports, one of the tyres of the bus bursted while moving from toll gate to Berger. The driver who apparently panicked matched the brake, then the bus somersaulted and immediately bursted into flames.
Of the 14 passengers only three survived with severe injuries. The unfortunate 11 others were burnt beyond recognition.
