Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian’s divorce almost finalised as he 'files response to reality star's petition'

Almost three years after the original documents were filed, it looks like Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s divorce is finally happening.

The former NBA star has reportedly filed his response to Khloe’s petition, and he matches all of the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star’s terms.

According to the documents, seen by TMZ , he lists the same date of separation as December 13, 2013, he agrees to award spousal support, and he also agrees to pay lawyer fees.

TMZ reports that the pair already have a prenup in place and have also already worked out a property settlement.

Khloe married Lamar in 2009 following a whirlwind romance and first filed for divorce four years later after discovering he had been cheating on her and taking drugs.

She then called off her divorce last year in order to help him recover following his collapse at a Nevada brothel after a drugs and alcohol binge.

The star cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their split.

An insider said: "It was always the plan to go through it. The divorce has never been officially off. Khloe was waiting for the timing to be right.

"She never wanted to file for divorce in the first place, and it's not easy the the second time around either. But she knows it's the right thing for her.

"She took care of Lamar out of love, but she is ready to move on now.

"She wants to remove herself from the situation a bit. She wants to focus on her own happiness now.

"She was loyal for a long time and taking care of him, but she's not a babysitter and needs to move on with her life."
